Jonice Arthur is the Founder and CEO of Regna Services, LLC. More than two centuries ago Adam Smith stated, “The real poverty of the poor is the poverty of their aspirations.” Jonice Arthur is a first generation, non-traditional graduate born and raised in an urban environment that historically birthed under-achieving and under-represented youth on the collegiate level. Jonice obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology at La Salle University. As a scholar-practitioner Jonice continued her life-long career obtaining a Master of Science in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum from Drexel University. She believes that teaching comes by example, so what she expects from her students and those young adults she mentors is what she exemplifies. Jonice has facilitated many professional staff developments across the U.S. on various topics over the past 10 years that are of importance to educators, advisors, mentors, and administrators. She has been the keystone speaker for several events, most notably, the 2019 NACADA Eastern PA Conference and the Appalachia Intermediate Unit Teacher Induction from 2014-2021.
Daniel Arthur is the Co-Founder and Consultant Analyst of the Trauma-Informed Division of Regna Services LLC. Too often teens are judged off of their behavior which never takes into consideration their experiences. As a Consultant Analyst, Daniel offers information on trauma from a teen’s perspective and view point. During the onset of Covid when students were forced to learn virtually, Daniel dealt with depression from lack of interaction, feelings of isolation, and due to situations his friends were experiencing that he couldn’t do anything about. He started to develop a hobby playing Xbox more often than usual and met some really amazing peers from a whole lot of different backgrounds and places. Those connections developed into friendships over time. They helped to support each other through some really rough times. Some of them are still dealing with rough times. Through these experiences Daniel realized the need for advocacy on the part of his peers. Some of them are crying out for help, but can anyone hear them? We have a voice and it is up to us to use those voices to be heard. It is Daniel’s desire to help them get back on their feet and towards the path to betterment.
